In the 3rd minute Dylan Verhaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Van Leemput saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Van Leemput showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Verhaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Alek Docx fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elite Red Devils's protests and gave Alek Docx a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Elite Red Devils getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alek Docx hit a great ball. Adam Vermeiren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Dylan Verhaert notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Elite Red Devils's Ray Van Leemput. Ray Van Leemput was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximiliano Perez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berten Wortelaert got free with Ray Van Leemput in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the game, Dylan Verhaert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ray Van Leemput. Dylan Verhaert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Berten Wortelaert came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Dutch Rebels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berten Wortelaert couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes of play, Dutch Rebels's Berten Wortelaert made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ray Van Leemput was left in no man's land by his defense there! 46 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Perez came free, but Adam Vermeiren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Adam Vermeiren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Gudmundsson in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes Dutch Rebels's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maximiliano Perez who took care of the corner kick. Maximiliano Perez made a great header on Elite Red Devils's corner, it was just that Dutch Rebels's Adam Vermeiren managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauren Seveneijnts in the 54th minute of play forced Elite Red Devils's goalkeeper Ray Van Leemput to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Perez in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Adam Vermeiren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ray Van Leemput took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obafemi N'Diaye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxim-Alexander Meertens got free with Adam Vermeiren in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Perez in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Vermeiren saved Dutch Rebels from getting behind. Christian Gudmundsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adam Vermeiren having to make a save. When Elite Red Devils's Maximiliano Perez in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dutch Rebels's goalie prevented a goal. Lauren Seveneijnts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adam Vermeiren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Perez in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Dutch Rebels had won after a very even match.
