Joseph De Coster yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 35 minutes into the match, Dalmore's goal looked a bit too open when Christiaan De Cock came free, but Joseph De Coster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Arnold Marchal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph De Coster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeff Van Hautvinck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Joseph De Coster made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dimitri Huvenaerts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joseph De Coster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnold Marchal, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
