A nice corner shot did that Obafemi N'Diaye got away a dangerous shot. Despite this William Hostens quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th match minute, ZVC Wellen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Will Carels to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Ranolfo during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lauren Seveneijnts kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to ZVC Wellen getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ken Van Hautvinck hit a great ball. William Hostens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berten Wortelaert in the 44th minute of the match. If Lauren Seveneijnts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berten Wortelaert made a kick off. William Hostens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berten Wortelaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berten Wortelaerts short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got William Hostens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Berten Wortelaert did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised William Hostens 55 minutes into the match. William Hostens was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Kevin Cuejvers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Cuejvers really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. With a little luck, ZVC Wellen's William Hostens got control of the ball when Berten Wortelaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geoffrey Rompen's late challenge caught a ZVC Wellen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geoffrey Rompen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ZVC Wellen booed when Dutch Rebels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey Rompen didn't get a good kick on the ball. ZVC Wellen's William Hostens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ZVC Wellen from getting a goal against them. William Hostens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylan Verhaert, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Kevin Cuejvers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but William Hostens made a huge save. The Dutch Rebels players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
