The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jorg De Clerk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berten Wortelaert in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Dylan Verhaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lauren Seveneijnts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Cuejvers during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kevin Cuejvers hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Adam Vermeiren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart De Poorter. Lennart De Poorter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Vermeiren having to interfere. Lennart De Poorter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adam Vermeiren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rozen's Jim Demeester got a free kick in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Jim Demeester could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Adam Vermeiren however easily saved by the left post. Dutch Rebels's Adam Vermeiren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Bauwens in the 33rd minute of play. Lauren Seveneijnts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg De Clerk having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Lauren Seveneijnts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Bauwens in the 45th minute of play forced Dutch Rebels's goalkeeper Adam Vermeiren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes of play, Dutch Rebels's Berten Wortelaert made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorg De Clerk was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Berten Wortelaert to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berten Wortelaert got free with Jorg De Clerk in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rozen's Jorg De Clerk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Verhaert in the 61st minute of play. Jorg De Clerk was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lauren Seveneijnts showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. In the 67th minute, Jim Demeester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rozen's Jorg De Clerk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Rozen from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Dutch Rebels booed when Rozen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Quvelirs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berten Wortelaert got free with Jorg De Clerk in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Kevin Cuejvers got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Rozen's Daevy Figaro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dutch Rebels. Berten Wortelaert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jorg De Clerk made a huge save. Lauren Seveneijnts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorg De Clerk having to interfere. If Stephan Quvelirs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dutch Rebels's Kevin Cuejvers got a free kick in the 97th minute.
