After 15 played minutes AFC Madzuly got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Mårtensson. In the 18th minute, one of AFC Madzuly:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AFC Madzuly. The Elite Red Devils fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Elite Red Devils's Maximiliano Perez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Maximiliano Perez took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jorre Vercouteren. Jorre Vercouteren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Degens, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jorre Vercouteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niki Degens in the 39th minute of the match. Jorre Vercouteren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Perez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. A collision led to AFC Madzuly getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Stein Dhondt hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Niki Degens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Perez was the one to do the kick off. AFC Madzuly's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Christian Gudmundsson scored to the left of an out of position Jorre Vercouteren, making the score, 0-5. Maximiliano Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jorre Vercouteren made a huge save. 63 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Perez came free, but Jorre Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorre Vercouteren made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Maximiliano Perez sent off a good shot on target. AFC Madzuly's Jorre Vercouteren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niki Degens in the 65th minute of play. Christian Gudmundsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goalkeeper Jorre Vercouteren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Perez. The crowd rose to their feet as Elite Red Devils's Maximiliano Perez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorre Vercouteren. That made the score 0-6 after 74 minutes of play. Jorre Vercouteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Maximiliano Perez sped through AFC Madzuly's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorre Vercouteren. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elite Red Devils's goalkeeper Ray Van Leemput, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Maxim-Alexander Meertens made a precise shot to the right of Jorre Vercouteren. AFC Madzuly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. Maximiliano Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jorre Vercouteren made a huge save. Jorre Vercouteren came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Elite Red Devils's Christof Gielis. But to his dismay, Christof Gielis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Jorre Vercouteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niki Degens in the 97th minute of play. Elite Red Devils's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
