The supporters of FC Zacząć od nowa booed when Speurdonk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Jaddon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo van Beek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robbrecht Van Boeckost in the 19th minute of play. Ricardo van Beek came out of the goal and Robbrecht Van Boeckost tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robbrecht Van Boeckost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo van Beek having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robbrecht Van Boeckost to strike the kick off in the second half. Oswald Van Der Meren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Matthew Gijselinckx skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bart-Jan Verduin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo van Beek having to interfere. Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbrecht Van Boeckost in the 81st minute of play. If Robbrecht Van Boeckost had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 96 minutes into the game, Speurdonk's Oswald Van Der Meren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthew Gijselinckx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FC Zacząć od nowa were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
