Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oswald Van Der Meren made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Alan Huybrechts notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek. Ricardo van Beek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ricardo van Beek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZVC Wellen. Aaron De Maerschalck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes of play, ZVC Wellen's Bartjan Slegers made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo van Beek was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo van Beek was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Alan Huybrechts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Alan Huybrechts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZVC Wellen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Speurdonk's Ricardo van Beek got control of the ball when Aaron De Maerschalck tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 56th minute, Bjorn Baekelandt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alan Huybrechts came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the ZVC Wellen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Huybrechts couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Speurdonk's Erwin-Alexander Meertens got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek in the 59th minute of play forced Speurdonk's goalkeeper Ricardo van Beek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Ricardo van Beek was a little too slow when Alan Huybrechts got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience was convinced that Henri-Xavier Van Meerbeek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo van Beek was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Bartjan Slegers managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZVC Wellen's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartjan Slegers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo van Beek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over ZVC Wellen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Speurdonk throughout the match.
