Spectators: 7962 (Terracing: 5973, Seating: 1831, VIP seats: 158) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Staf Grammet made the kick off which started today's match. AFC Madzuly's Stein Dhondt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bertrand Beekman in the 6 minute of the game. In the 7th match minute, Dalmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matty Tuerlinckx to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Dalmore's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Roeckeloes came free, but Joseph De Coster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes AFC Madzuly got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Van Achter. In the 21st match minute, AFC Madzuly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amaury Jooris to maneuver through the defense. Henri-Xavier Sielis came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorre Vercouteren could save by the left post. A collision led to AFC Madzuly getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Klaas Van Achter hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitri Huvenaerts in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorre Vercouteren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitri Huvenaerts, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd match minute, AFC Madzuly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rasmus Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. Joseph De Coster came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Madzuly's Stein Dhondt. But to his dismay, Stein Dhondt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 47th minute Dimitri Huvenaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorre Vercouteren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stein Dhondt's late challenge caught a Dalmore's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stein Dhondt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dalmore booed when AFC Madzuly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stein Dhondt didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri-Xavier Sielis to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the game Bertrand Beekman made a throw-in which Henri-Xavier Sielis played forward. When Klaas Van Achter fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Madzuly's protests and gave Klaas Van Achter a yellow card for diving instead. Amaury Jooris was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitri Huvenaerts came free, but Jorre Vercouteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matty Tuerlinckx, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Jean-Louis De Loose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorre Vercouteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitri Huvenaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmore's Joseph De Coster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stan Roeckeloes in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, AFC Madzuly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stein Dhondt to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th match minute, Dalmore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertrand Beekman to maneuver through the defense. AFC Madzuly were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
