The shot was a little too simple and Jorre Vercouteren could save by the left post. Jacques Ombelets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jorre Vercouteren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes RSC Loenhout got a freekick which was hit by Yanne Bellinkx. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Loenhout's zone, Rasmus Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilliam De Deygere came out of the goal and Rasmus Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

After some careless play in the AFC Madzuly defense, Jacques Ombelets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorre Vercouteren. The AFC Madzuly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorre Vercouteren should have stopped the shot. A collision led to RSC Loenhout getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Guillaume Cesters hit a great ball. 65 minutes in the game Arnauld Lefevere did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jacques Ombelets.
