Spectators: 7984 (Terracing: 5989, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kent De Marrez started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Joop Eggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Verhaeghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steffen Verhaeghen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joop Eggers, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Steffen Verhaeghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbe Smidts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacob Van De Velden came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorne Sulem could save by the left post. A collision led to schoten getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Robbe Smidts hit a great ball. Jacq Wigers kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind schoten's goalkeeper Jorne Sulem, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robbe Smidts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 17 minutes into the match, schoten's Joop Eggers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Steffen Verhaeghen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Steffen Verhaeghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robbe Smidts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joop Eggers hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Robbe Smidts scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Steffen Verhaeghen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joop Eggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robbe Smidts in the 40th minute of play forced FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Verhaeghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Eggers in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joop Eggers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorne Sulem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Van De Velden in the 53rd minute of the match. Steffen Verhaeghen made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Robbe Smidts sent off a good shot on target. Joop Eggers struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Steffen Verhaeghen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for schoten. Steffen Verhaeghen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Eggers in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Robbe Smidts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The schoten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Joop Eggers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Joop Eggers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steffen Verhaeghen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by FuglyMugs's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robbe Smidts was slow to take the kick. During this time schoten's players had a chance to rest. 77 minutes into the match, schoten's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Van De Velden came free, but Jorne Sulem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matthy Degraef took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steffen Verhaeghen. Steffen Verhaeghen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Steffen Verhaeghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop Eggers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbe Smidts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Steffen Verhaeghen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joop Eggers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Verhaeghen having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Richy Van Bettenrode fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of FuglyMugs booed when schoten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richy Van Bettenrode didn't get a good kick on the ball. FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FuglyMugs from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded schoten left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FuglyMugs.
