Spectators: 7944 (Terracing: 5959, Seating: 1827, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jerome Goovaers took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Goovaers in the 9th minute of play forced FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Verhaeghen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederick Gallot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Kent De Marrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jerome Goovaers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steffen Verhaeghen was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Kent De Marrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Rema United's Karel Jannes got control of the ball when Jacob Van De Velden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karel Jannes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent De Marrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gery Schouters hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Jacob Van De Velden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kent De Marrez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karel Jannes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. FuglyMugs's Jacob Van De Velden got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kent De Marrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jacob Van De Velden struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Karel Jannes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FuglyMugs. Claus Pauwels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Karel Jannes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurend Van Eersel hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes, Gery Schouters mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rema United and the FuglyMugs players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Rema United got a freekick which was hit by Gery Schouters. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaud Rijmenans in the 65th minute of play forced FuglyMugs's goalkeeper Steffen Verhaeghen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Rema United's Jerome Goovaers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steffen Verhaeghen. That made the score 0-1 after 68 minutes of play. Karel Jannes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Van De Velden in the 72nd minute of play. FuglyMugs's Steffen Verhaeghen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederick Gallot in the 73rd minute of play. If Kent De Marrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kent De Marrez came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the FuglyMugs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent De Marrez couldn't finish the play. In the 81st match minute, FuglyMugs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Celis to maneuver through the defense. A throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game was made by Mike Worteleers with Dyllen Campens as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Karel Jannes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Van De Velden in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jacob Van De Velden managed to get in a good position for a shot. FuglyMugs's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Van De Velden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karel Jannes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent De Marrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Karel Jannes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, FuglyMugs's Jacob Van De Velden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karel Jannes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. FuglyMugs were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
