The Buitre SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in De Brugse Klokke FC's zone, Yanniek Niewens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Dirickx came out of the goal and Yanniek Niewens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias de Pelsmaecker took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matias Dirickx. Matias Dirickx dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. De Brugse Klokke FC's Matias Dirickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias de Pelsmaecker in the 38th minute of play. Bastiaan Callens made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Peter-Jan Hofnagels sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the game, Buitre SC's Mattias de Pelsmaecker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Dirickx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Mathieu Meijers put it in 1-8 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Dirickx. The De Brugse Klokke FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buitre SC were winning 1-8.

Mathieu Meijers struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Matias Dirickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buitre SC. After 55 played minutes De Brugse Klokke FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Jan Hofnagels. 58 minutes into the match, De Brugse Klokke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias de Pelsmaecker came free, but Matias Dirickx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the De Brugse Klokke FC defense, Mathieu Meijers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Dirickx. The De Brugse Klokke FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Dirickx should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Nico Laureijs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Dirickx. De Brugse Klokke FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nico Laureijs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-10. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathieu Meijers in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Dirickx saved De Brugse Klokke FC from getting behind. De Brugse Klokke FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Mathieu Meijers scored to the left of an out of position Matias Dirickx, making the score, 1-11. The supporters of Buitre SC booed when De Brugse Klokke FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Vogels didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Peter-Jan Hofnagels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bastiaan Callens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Buitre SC's attentive Tjorven Ingelborgs managed to snatch the ball when Izak Duchateau made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. The supporters of De Brugse Klokke FC booed when Buitre SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tjorven Ingelborgs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Tiago Dikaté left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Brugse Klokke FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-11. The De Brugse Klokke FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buitre SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
