In the 2nd minute, Yanniek Niewens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute Mathieu Meijers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathieu Meijers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Van Landschoot having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Buitre SC's Mathieu Meijers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Facabora's goal looked a bit too open when Matias De Pauw came free, but Didier Van Landschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Facabora's goal looked a bit too open when Mathieu Meijers came free, but Didier Van Landschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Facabora's Didier Van Landschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Laureijs in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathieu Meijers got free with Didier Van Landschoot in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Facabora's Didier Van Landschoot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Facabora from getting a goal against them. Didier Van Landschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Laureijs in the 28th minute of the match. Didier Van Landschoot was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Mathieu Meijers capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mathieu Meijers really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After 35 minutes of play, Buitre SC's Mathieu Meijers made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didier Van Landschoot was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute, Buitre SC's Mattias de Pelsmaecker dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Didier Van Landschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Laureijs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facabora's Didier Van Landschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathieu Meijers in the 45th minute of play. Didier Van Landschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nico Laureijs in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mattias de Pelsmaecker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didier Van Landschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathieu Meijers was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Buitre SC's Mattias de Pelsmaecker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didier Van Landschoot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Andy Meersman's late challenge caught a Buitre SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy Meersman helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Buitre SC booed when Facabora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andy Meersman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didier Van Landschoot came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Buitre SC's Mattias de Pelsmaecker. But to his dismay, Mattias de Pelsmaecker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 66th minute Mattias de Pelsmaecker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willy Vandommele got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Facabora's Willy Vandommele got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute Mathieu Meijers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Christofere De Vleeschauwer fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Facabora's protests and gave Christofere De Vleeschauwer a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buitre SC booed when Facabora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christofere De Vleeschauwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Mathieu Meijers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didier Van Landschoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Didier Van Landschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathieu Meijers in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Facabora's goal looked a bit too open when Matthieu Van den Paenhuysen came free, but Didier Van Landschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattias de Pelsmaecker in the 81st minute of play forced Facabora's goalkeeper Didier Van Landschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Facabora's Didier Van Landschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Laureijs in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Mathieu Meijers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Van Landschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Facabora defense, Matias De Pauw kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Didier Van Landschoot. The Facabora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Didier Van Landschoot should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the match, Nico Laureijs notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of Facabora's Didier Van Landschoot. Didier Van Landschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isaac Weets made in the 96th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Evert Goddez.
