Spectators: 7949 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1849, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sammy Vogels kicked off to start the match. V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter-Jan Hofnagels in the 5th minute of play. Ivan Cox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Jan Hofnagels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the game Tuur Vanden Bossche made a throw-in which Peter-Jan Hofnagels played forward. Peter-Jan Hofnagels took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Cox. Ivan Cox dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 12 minutes, Frits Imbrechs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the V.D.B. Foundation and the De Brugse Klokke FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. De Brugse Klokke FC made a substitution. Tibau Van Hoof replaced Tuur Vanden Bossche. In the 14th minute of the match Ritchie De Coster shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ivan Cox showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ivan Cox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter-Jan Hofnagels, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Ivan Cox didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tibau Van Hoof went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the V.D.B. Foundation defense, Ritchie De Coster kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Cox. The V.D.B. Foundation fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Cox should have stopped the shot. Ivan Cox made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Vogels in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Tiago Dikaté notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox. Ivan Cox was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Ritchie De Coster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Cox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe-Arnaud Descamps in the 34th minute of play forced V.D.B. Foundation's goalkeeper Ivan Cox to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Tiago Dikaté ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Cox was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When Bob Le Page fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored V.D.B. Foundation's protests and gave Bob Le Page a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the match, Tiago Dikaté notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox. Ivan Cox was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Dikaté in the 44th minute of play forced V.D.B. The wind increased when Gery Van der Vorst made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter-Jan Hofnagels got free with Ivan Cox in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivan Cox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter-Jan Hofnagels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th match minute, De Brugse Klokke FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philippe-Arnaud Descamps to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes De Brugse Klokke FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter-Jan Hofnagels. Matias Dirickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gery Van der Vorst in the 61st minute of play. V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save V.D.B. Foundation from getting a goal against them. Sammy Vogels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ivan Cox made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, V.D.B. Foundation's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan Hofnagels came free, but Ivan Cox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izak Duchateau might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Cox. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izak Duchateau ran back to his position shaking his head. Gery Van der Vorst charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gery Van der Vorst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gery Van der Vorst hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Philippe-Arnaud Descamps kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Cox. That made the score 0-8 in the 76 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Peter-Jan Hofnagels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Cox was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. V.D.B. Foundation's Ivan Cox proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save V.D.B. Foundation from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, Tiago Dikaté cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Ivan Cox was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, De Brugse Klokke FC's Sammy Vogels dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. Ivan Cox showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Dikaté in the 97th minute of the match. The V.D.B. Foundation fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. De Brugse Klokke FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
