Siebe Ketelers came out of the goal and Kenneth Petermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Werner Hoes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gery Ceustermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Aaron Van Herck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute Joonatan Lembrechts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siebe Ketelers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harald Herremans took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Werner Hoes. Werner Hoes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 44th match minute, VVV Vurige Vossen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Van Hoeij to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Van Herck struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Werner Hoes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Energy. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joonatan Lembrechts to strike the kick off in the second half. VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save VVV Vurige Vossen from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute, Aaron Van Herck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald Herremans in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Werner Hoes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 67 minutes into the match, Dark Energy's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Petermans came free, but Siebe Ketelers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Harald Herremans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Werner Hoes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 72nd minute of the match, Harald Herremans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Werner Hoes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to VVV Vurige Vossen getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kenneth Petermans hit a great ball. Gery Ceustermans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Werner Hoes made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in VVV Vurige Vossen's zone, Gery Ceustermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Werner Hoes came out of the goal and Gery Ceustermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes got control of the ball when Gery Ceustermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gery Ceustermans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Werner Hoes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jules Struyf kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Harald Herremans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dark Energy's Harald Herremans got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, VVV Vurige Vossen's goalkeeper Werner Hoes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gery Ceustermans. Jules Struyf's late challenge caught a Dark Energy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jules Struyf helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Jules Struyf hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, VVV Vurige Vossen's Werner Hoes got control of the ball when Gery Ceustermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Dark Energy got a freekick which was hit by Abdelhamid Hasni. Dark Energy's Siebe Ketelers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannik Van Der Veecken in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Herremans in the 97th minute of play forced VVV Vurige Vossen's goalkeeper Werner Hoes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Dark Energy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than VVV Vurige Vossen throughout the match.
