Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Lieven Bossuyt made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Racing Leuven's goal looked a bit too open when Loid Voet came free, but Ferdinand Raedemaeckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, As's Casper Leerbels nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 7th minute Loid Voet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Raedemaeckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Leerbels in the 9th minute of the match. Racing Leuven's Lieven Bossuyt got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Leerbels scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Raedemaeckers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soren Van Baerlem in the 16th minute of play forced Racing Leuven's goalkeeper Ferdinand Raedemaeckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, As's Casper Leerbels made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferdinand Raedemaeckers came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by As's Casper Leerbels. But to his dismay, Casper Leerbels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 29 minutes, Casper Leerbels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. As's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Leerbels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by As's Loid Voet. But to his dismay, Loid Voet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 36th minute, Joachim Pannekoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicolas Van Beets hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Soren Van Baerlem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The As fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 47th minute, Casper Leerbels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casper Leerbels to strike the kick off in the second half. Casper Leerbels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ferdinand Raedemaeckers made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Lieven Bossuyt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, As's goal looked a bit too open when Hans De Block came free, but Cederik Davus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. As's Cederik Davus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lieven Bossuyt in the 62nd minute of play. Casper Leerbels didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-8 via right post in the game's 67th minute. As's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Lieven Bossuyt hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, As's Casper Leerbels sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Raedemaeckers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Racing Leuven's Ferdinand Raedemaeckers got control of the ball when Casper Leerbels tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Loid Voet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Loid Voet really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Loid Voet's late challenge caught a Racing Leuven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Loid Voet helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loid Voet in the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 minutes, Casper Leerbels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the As and the Racing Leuven players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Soren Van Baerlem fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored As's protests and gave Soren Van Baerlem a yellow card for diving instead. Racing Leuven's Ferdinand Raedemaeckers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Leuven from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 90 minutes into the game, when Gerard Vervoort put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in As fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Racing Leuven a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hans De Block, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of As's Cederik Davus. 1-9. Soren Van Baerlem struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for As. When the final whistle sounded As left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Leuven.
