Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Voorhof started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ataol Ayalp made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Hugo Voorhof sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Frederick Declerck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sint-Niklaas's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederick Declerck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ataol Ayalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustav Neirynck hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Standaard Meerbeek's Ataol Ayalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Standaard Meerbeek from getting a goal against them. When Sint-Niklaas's Hugo Voorhof in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Standaard Meerbeek's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederick Declerck in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ataol Ayalp saved Standaard Meerbeek from getting behind. Axel Weets took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ataol Ayalp. Ataol Ayalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Standaard Meerbeek's goalkeeper Ataol Ayalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute Ken Stessel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ken Stessel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Standaard Meerbeek's supporters rose to their feet, but Ken Stessel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After a rather tough play, Sint-Niklaas's Fabien Mallecots got a free kick in the 25th minute. Kent Waterloos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Ayalp having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederick Declerck in the 33rd minute of play forced Standaard Meerbeek's goalkeeper Ataol Ayalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ataol Ayalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederick Declerck in the 34th minute of play. Ataol Ayalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Ekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Frederick Declerck sped through Standaard Meerbeek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ataol Ayalp. After some careless play in the Standaard Meerbeek defense, Frederick Declerck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ataol Ayalp. The Standaard Meerbeek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ataol Ayalp should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pieter-Jan De Raedemaeker to strike the kick off in the second half. Ataol Ayalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederick Declerck, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Hugo Voorhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Ayalp having to interfere. A collision led to Standaard Meerbeek getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ken Stessel hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Standaard Meerbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Frederick Declerck came free, but Ataol Ayalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ken Stessel might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ken Stessel ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Sint-Niklaas's Frederick Declerck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ataol Ayalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ataol Ayalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Voorhof went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 77th match minute, Standaard Meerbeek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ken Stessel to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Hugo Voorhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ataol Ayalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan De Metser might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emiliano Martínez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan De Metser ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davy Weba got free with Emiliano Martínez in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Standaard Meerbeek's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Johan De Metser in the 89th minute. The corner led to Standaard Meerbeek's Johan De Metser getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Steve Van Steen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Standaard Meerbeek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sint-Niklaas the free kick. Ahmet Ekin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Sint-Niklaas were the better team. Sint-Niklaas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
