Sint-Niklaas's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugo Voorhof was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Vinck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute, Piet De Putter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piet De Putter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Martínez having to interfere. Sint-Niklaas's Emiliano Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Sint-Niklaas from getting a goal against them. Tri Owe FC's Tristan Vinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Mallecots in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tri Owe FC's Piet De Putter got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Hugo Voorhof shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Vinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Weets hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marc Klinkenberg got free with Emiliano Martínez in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Marc Klinkenberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emiliano Martínez. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diederick Van Parijs in the 37th minute of play forced Sint-Niklaas's goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Vettori in the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Amedeo Vettori notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sint-Niklaas's Emiliano Martínez. After a rather tough play, Tri Owe FC's Marc Klinkenberg got a free kick in the 77th minute. Amedeo Vettori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Diederick Van Parijs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emiliano Martínez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amedeo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Tri Owe FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sint-Niklaas for a fine match.
