Spectators: 8020 (Terracing: 6017, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gery Ceustermans took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 played minutes Boechout got a freekick which was hit by Richey Neesens. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gery Ceustermans in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Van Geertruyen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aaron Van Herck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Van Geertruyen having to interfere. If Gery Ceustermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Boechout's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Van Herck came free, but Antonio Van Geertruyen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12th play minutes Gery Ceustermans shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Antonio Van Geertruyen and just under the crossbar into goal. Antonio Van Geertruyen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Van Herck in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Dark Energy booed when Boechout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanis Driesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Van Geertruyen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Van Herck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gery Ceustermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Boechout's Adam van haeve got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th match minute, Boechout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yanis Driesen to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Van Herck struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Antonio Van Geertruyen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dark Energy. Gery Ceustermans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelhamid Hasni in the 36th minute of play forced Boechout's goalkeeper Antonio Van Geertruyen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Boechout's Richey Neesens got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Gery Ceustermans ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Van Geertruyen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Dark Energy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After having played for 51 minutes, Aaron Van Herck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Energy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Van Herck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Van Geertruyen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Herremans in the 52nd minute. Gery Ceustermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Van Geertruyen having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Boechout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Louckx to maneuver through the defense. Dark Energy's Aaron Van Herck got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gery Ceustermans who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Van Geertruyen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abdelhamid Hasni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Van Geertruyen having to interfere. Gery Ceustermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Van Geertruyen having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Boechout's goalkeeper Antonio Van Geertruyen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gery Ceustermans. A collision led to Boechout getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Armand Cesters hit a great ball. A hard shot by Abdelhamid Hasni from long distance, 66 minutes into the match, got Antonio Van Geertruyen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Boechout's Adam van haeve got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Dark Energy's Gery Ceustermans in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boechout's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Aaron Van Herck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gery Ceustermans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Antonio Van Geertruyen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gery Ceustermans did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Antonio Van Geertruyen 78 minutes into the match. With his leg Antonio Van Geertruyen managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Dark Energy's Gery Ceustermans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Boechout's Antonio Van Geertruyen got control of the ball when Gery Ceustermans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dark Energy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
