Marc Klinkenberg kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 10thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Racing Leuven's keeper Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 11 minutes into the match, Marc Klinkenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Raedemaeckers. Racing Leuven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Klinkenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Amedeo Vettori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Diederick Van Parijs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Raedemaeckers. That made the score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Klinkenberg in the 20th minute of play forced Racing Leuven's goalkeeper Ferdinand Raedemaeckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Diederick Van Parijs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Raedemaeckers. That made the score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. If Amedeo Vettori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fredrik Van Den Driessche hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Marc Klinkenberg struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tri Owe FC. Diederick Van Parijs received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers came out and tried to block the shot, but Diederick Van Parijs slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lieven Bossuyt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Lieven Bossuyt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Vinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Owen Vinck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Raedemaeckers. Racing Leuven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Owen Vinck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Racing Leuven's Ferdinand Raedemaeckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Klinkenberg in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Marc Klinkenberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Raedemaeckers. Racing Leuven's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Klinkenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 76th minute, Diederick Van Parijs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Tri Owe FC's Owen Vinck made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the game, Joachim Pannekoek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racing Leuven's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tri Owe FC the free kick. The supporters of Tri Owe FC booed when Racing Leuven was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Pannekoek didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tri Owe FC's Marc Klinkenberg in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Racing Leuven's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute of the match Ediz Man shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Raedemaeckers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Klinkenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Amedeo Vettori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diederick Van Parijs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 98th minute, Marc Klinkenberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ferdinand Raedemaeckers was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Tri Owe FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
