Antonio Van Geertruyen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Loid Voet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Van Geertruyen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loid Voet in the 17th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Richey Neesens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cederik Davus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wart Van Balen hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Loid Voet came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the As fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loid Voet couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casper Leerbels to make the kick off. The referee showed Armand Cesters the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Boechout's Armand Cesters got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Adam van haeve fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boechout's protests and gave Adam van haeve a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boechout getting a freekick after 75 minutes play.
