But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Klinkenberg couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd match minute, KFC stopt ermee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Piet Verhaeghen to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Piet De Putter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tristan Vinck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Marc Klinkenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diederick Van Parijs struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ronny Waegemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tri Owe FC. Tri Owe FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
