Ciro Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remco Dekker made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Gregoire Humblets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Decathlon Anderlecht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregoire Humblets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bram Vanbuyten got free with Ciro Lira in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattijs Klaes in the 59th minute of play forced North Side's goalkeeper Mathieu-Maxim Neys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remco Dekker in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathieu-Maxim Neys saved North Side from getting behind. In the 64th minute Mattijs Klaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieu-Maxim Neys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kanu van Beek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, North Side's goal looked a bit too open when Remco Dekker came free, but Mathieu-Maxim Neys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cafu van Beek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Decathlon Anderlecht protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cafu van Beek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Cafu van Beek kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes North Side got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Snoekens. Decathlon Anderlecht's Richy Valkeneers got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the North Side players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Decathlon Anderlecht.
