Fred Vanderhaege took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Stessel made a kick off. Angelo Peruzzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavian Rutgeerts in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute, Pezerik's Gustaaf Van Dyck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Angelo Peruzzi. Angelo Peruzzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Octavian Rutgeerts slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, KFC Raffelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Van Dyck came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavian Rutgeerts got free with Angelo Peruzzi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Octavian Rutgeerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Angelo Peruzzi made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustaaf Van Dyck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelo Peruzzi. That made the score 0-12 in the 76 minute of play. Angelo Peruzzi came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Pezerik's Wart Goegebeur. But to his dismay, Wart Goegebeur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. KFC Raffelberg's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Van Dyck in the 82nd minute of play. The corner led Pezerik's Jelle Temmerman to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Peruzzi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, KFC Raffelberg's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Rutgeerts came free, but Angelo Peruzzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Vanderhaege in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Peruzzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Peruzzi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Vanderhaege's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. KFC Raffelberg's Angelo Peruzzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Van Dyck in the 88th minute of play. When Lucas Ondino fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Raffelberg's protests and gave Lucas Ondino a yellow card for diving instead. Lucas Ondino kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Angelo Peruzzi made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Fred Vanderhaege sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Pezerik could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KFC Raffelberg throughout the match.
