An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Powderham in the 14th minute of play forced The Oudsberg Wolves's goalkeeper Jeoffrey van Hollebecke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeoffrey van Hollebecke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Reijniers, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, The Oudsberg Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Kirk Powderham came free, but Jeoffrey van Hollebecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeoffrey van Hollebecke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, The Oudsberg Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Kirk Powderham came free, but Jeoffrey van Hollebecke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Van Meerbek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Paul Frans in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Oudsberg Wolves's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Reijniers was slow to take the kick. During this time Brakkies New Bastards's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Powderham in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeoffrey van Hollebecke saved The Oudsberg Wolves from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominick Antheunis was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Robben Kints tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeoffrey van Hollebecke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robben Kints got free with Jeoffrey van Hollebecke in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Ernesto Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeoffrey van Hollebecke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Oudsberg Wolves's Jeoffrey van Hollebecke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by János Újfalussy in the 65th minute of play. Jeoffrey van Hollebecke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
