If Brend Van Laeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute of the match Olympus FC got a corner. All Stars Gent's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charlie Hökkvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. 17 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Rijmenans came free, but Eser Şemsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yanniek Lissens succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Christiaan Elsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathieu Van der Vloedt having to make a save. Brend Van Laeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mathieu Van der Vloedt made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Mathieu Van der Vloedt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 32 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's Brend Van Laeck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathieu Van der Vloedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute of the match All Stars Gent got a corner. Olympus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christiaan Elsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Brend Van Laeck managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Brend Van Laeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mathieu Van der Vloedt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Brend Van Laeck struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Mathieu Van der Vloedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Stars Gent. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yanniek Lissens to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Yanniek Lissens came free, but Eser Şemsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Brend Van Laeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Olympus FC's Mathieu Van der Vloedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esterilla Van Meenen in the 61st minute of play. Mathieu Van der Vloedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esterilla Van Meenen in the 61st minute of the match. Brend Van Laeck kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, All Stars Gent's goal looked a bit too open when Yanniek Lissens came free, but Eser Şemsi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Olympus FC defense, Esterilla Van Meenen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathieu Van der Vloedt. The Olympus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathieu Van der Vloedt should have stopped the shot. Christiaan Elsen scored 4-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mathieu Van der Vloedt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Bogdan Liermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The All Stars Gent fans cheered their team off the field, for while Olympus FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
