Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Vincke in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rani Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Menelaos Markos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Club Brugge fully deserved thier win.
