Bavo Van Eeckhout came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Sleepy Soldiers FC's Octavio Ordono. But to his dismay, Octavio Ordono quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th match minute, Sleepy Soldiers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cederique Goffeyn to maneuver through the defense. Andres Oper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bavo Van Eeckhout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Bavo Van Eeckhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 18th minute of play. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Emanuel Vanooteghem sent off a good shot on target. When Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sinsin's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sinsin's zone, Andres Oper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bavo Van Eeckhout came out of the goal and Andres Oper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frits Cromefeldt hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Joonatan De Vlaeminck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Sleepy Soldiers FC from getting a goal against them. Bavo Van Eeckhout stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Oper's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Dimitri Van Gestel kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Vanooteghem to make the kick off. Emanuel Vanooteghem charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Vanooteghem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuel Vanooteghem hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Andres Oper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Oper received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bavo Van Eeckhout came out and tried to block the shot, but Andres Oper slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout got control of the ball when Andres Oper tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 played minutes Sinsin got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Vinx. In the 77th minute, Ralph Barker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Cederique Goffeyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Sleepy Soldiers FC defense, Dimitri Van Gestel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joonatan De Vlaeminck. The Sleepy Soldiers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joonatan De Vlaeminck should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute Andres Oper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bavo Van Eeckhout saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Oper in the 90th minute of play.
