Spectators: 8439 (Terracing: 6330, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) Iulian Unciuleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martial Horemans in the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moerhuize's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabien Pineurs was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal Antwerp FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Royal Antwerp FC's corner Fabien Pineurs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Iulian Unciuleanu quite easily take care of the ball. Iulian Unciuleanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thibau Robin in the 5th minute. Thibau Robin made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 5thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Iulian Unciuleanu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Valdir Bigotte's late challenge caught a Royal Antwerp FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir Bigotte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Moerhuize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdir Bigotte to maneuver through the defense. Thibau Robin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Iulian Unciuleanu made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Thibau Robin lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Iulian Unciuleanu. After a rather tough play, Moerhuize's Martin Tkint got a free kick in the 18th minute. Valdir Bigotte hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Thibau Robin took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Iulian Unciuleanu to make any attempt to save it. Thibau Robin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Iulian Unciuleanu made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Thibau Robin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iulian Unciuleanu. Thibau Robin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thibau Robin got free with Iulian Unciuleanu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Thibau Robin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iulian Unciuleanu was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Royal Antwerp FC's Reinaud Vrijdag got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thibau Robin struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Iulian Unciuleanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Royal Antwerp FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thibau Robin made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Reinaud Vrijdag managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Antwerp FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaud Vrijdag was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd match minute, Royal Antwerp FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacob de Pelsmaeker to maneuver through the defense. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck was a little too slow when Antoni Dziatkowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 3-2. Gandalf Bilbo came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bart-Jan Van De Beeck could save by the left post. Iulian Unciuleanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibau Robin in the 71st minute of the match. Royal Antwerp FC's Thibau Robin got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iulian Unciuleanu came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Antwerp FC's Reinaud Vrijdag. But to his dismay, Reinaud Vrijdag quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 87th minute Reinaud Vrijdag shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Unciuleanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iulian Unciuleanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thibau Robin's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Thibau Robin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Royal Antwerp FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Thibau Robin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iulian Unciuleanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Reinaud Vrijdag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Royal Antwerp FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Royal Antwerp FC fully deserved thier win.
