In the 38th minute, Gino Mampaerts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-3 came in the 40th minute when Henning Ekström all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Ignace Himschoot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Boegaerts was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Hector Bellerin in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Rising Stars's Johannes De Mare. Ignace Himschoot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Şevket Çağa went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. FC Rising Stars's Ignace Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Van Landewijck in the 64th minute of play. Stein Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Boegaerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignace Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pieter Van Landewijck in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, FC Rising Stars's goal looked a bit too open when 孔磊傲 came free, but Ignace Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Club Brugge were awarded a corner. Henning Ekström went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Club Brugge's Hector Bellerin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When King Eken came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Club Brugge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Eken couldn't finish the play. Stein Spoelberch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Boegaerts's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Ignace Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Simon Elsen in the 87th minute of play. Ignace Himschoot made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when King Eken sent off a good shot on target. Ignace Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Simon Elsen in the 92nd minute of the match. Ignace Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Simon Elsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Club Brugge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Brugge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
