The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willy Van Linthout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Ordono in the 4th minute of the match. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Bruly from getting a goal against them. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Andres Oper got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 史浩远 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Oper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willy Van Linthout read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Willy Van Linthout was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Andres Oper capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andres Oper really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 42nd minute, Thys Mangelschot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Jullian Vranx made the kick off in the second half. Willy Van Linthout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 51st minute of play. Octavio Ordono kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Javier Van Landschoot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joonatan De Vlaeminck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Bruly made a substitution. Jacques Van der Veeren replaced Javier Van Landschoot. Tolek Skoroda charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolek Skoroda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Skoroda to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Andres Oper's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Willy Van Linthout was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Bruly's Willy Van Linthout played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Oper in the 88th minute of play. Joonatan De Vlaeminck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jullian Vranx in the 95th minute.
