Spectators: 8478 (Terracing: 6360, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Sinsin's Emanuel Vanooteghem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dimitri Van Gestel during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Dimitri Van Gestel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Vanooteghem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Lauwers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. The corner led Sinsin's Dominick Weijnandts to fire away a dangerous shot which Mitch Lauwers despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emanuel Vanooteghem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bavo Van Eeckhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Herinckx in the 11th minute of play. Minion Mim's Jasper Rosario was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bavo Van Eeckhout in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Emanuel Vanooteghem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mitch Lauwers. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Mitch Lauwers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Vanooteghem's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. When Sinsin's Emanuel Vanooteghem in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minion Mim's goalie prevented a goal. Bavo Van Eeckhout made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Herinckx in the 31st minute of play forced Sinsin's goalkeeper Bavo Van Eeckhout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Minion Mim's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Vanooteghem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitch Lauwers read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Dolf Dobbelaere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minion Mim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sinsin the free kick. In the 44th minute, Dolf Dobbelaere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joonatan Van Landewijck to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Minion Mim booed when Sinsin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominick Weijnandts didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Herinckx in the 54th minute of play forced Sinsin's goalkeeper Bavo Van Eeckhout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Emanuel Vanooteghem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mitch Lauwers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Dominick Weijnandts got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mitch Lauwers quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 64 minutes into the game, one of Minion Mim:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sinsin's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joonatan Van Landewijck 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Sinsin's Bavo Van Eeckhout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Sinsin from getting a goal against them. Bavo Van Eeckhout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck in the 75th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Mattijs De Worteleer sped through Sinsin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bavo Van Eeckhout. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Herinckx in the 83rd minute of play forced Sinsin's goalkeeper Bavo Van Eeckhout to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th play minute Mattijs De Worteleer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bavo Van Eeckhout. 2-4. In the 95th minute, Sinsin's Mark Clement seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mark Clement the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sinsin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mark Clement had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Mark Clement hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Minion Mim's Jasper Rosario got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Minion Mim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
