Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thibau Robin kicked off to start the match. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Vincke in the 20th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rani Boys's goalkeeper Dogo De Hond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29thth minute of the game Christiaan Tkint who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rani Boys's Dogo De Hond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Rits in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dogo De Hond prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thibau Robin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dogo De Hond having to make a save. Dogo De Hond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibau Robin in the 33rd minute of play. Dogo De Hond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Rits's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tom Rits in the 39th minute of play forced Rani Boys's goalkeeper Dogo De Hond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Royal Antwerp FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Rani Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabien Pineurs took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Martial Horemans heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brian Vincke was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Rani Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Rits came free, but Dogo De Hond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Rani Boys's Dogo De Hond got control of the ball when Thibau Robin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Rits did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-3 to the left of a surprised Dogo De Hond 83 minutes into the match. Thibau Robin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Dogo De Hond made a huge save. Albertus Winnepenninckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thibau Robins short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Dogo De Hond to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bart-Jan Van De Beeck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertus Winnepenninckx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thibau Robin let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 95th minute shot 2-4 at rihgt post. When the final whistle sounded Royal Antwerp FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Rani Boys.
