Thanks to some nice moves Andres Oper could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Dogo De Hond however easily saved by the left post. Joonatan De Vlaeminck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommi Van Dijck in the 29th minute of the match. Dogo De Hond made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Andres Oper sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian Vincke made a kick off. Dogo De Hond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Oper in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Sleepy Soldiers FC got a corner. Rani Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frits Cromefeldt ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Frits Cromefeldt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dogo De Hond quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 71 minutes into the game, Jilian Vrins threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sleepy Soldiers FC's Octavio Ordono quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Andres Oper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gabriel Valckenaers made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tommi Van Dijck immediately put the ball in play. Andres Oper might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dogo De Hond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Oper ran back to his position shaking his head. Dogo De Hond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Oper in the 83rd minute of the match. Andres Oper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dogo De Hond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Sleepy Soldiers FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
