The supporters of Esquirla FC booed when Wesselbend was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktoras Chronopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute of the match Esquirla FC got a corner. Wesselbend's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Bertran ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Tim Van Brussel heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 39 minutes of play, Esquirla FC's Lukas Caers made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 乔景旭 was left in no man's land by his defense there! 乔景旭 came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta. But to his dismay, Arlo Arruta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlo Arruta got free with 乔景旭 in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Bertran got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 乔景旭 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With his leg 乔景旭 managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arlo Arruta did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised 乔景旭 68 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Wesselbend's goalkeeper 乔景旭, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wesselbend's 乔景旭 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlo Arruta in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Tekin Yaşer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wesselbend and the Esquirla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, Arlo Arruta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 乔景旭. The goal made the score 0-6. Arlo Arruta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. 乔景旭 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Esquirla FC's Arlo Arruta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 乔景旭. That made the score 0-7 after 83 minutes of play. Arlo Arruta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristen Lijsens hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Wesselbend supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Esquirla FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Esquirla FC.
