Didier Schollens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Louis Van Craesbeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. After 3 played minutes RSC Sellewie got a freekick which was hit by Jullian Bruynincx. Üzeyir Tuğlu came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Alpina FC's Alfons Van Mellaert. But to his dismay, Alfons Van Mellaert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Daniel Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Paul-Louis Van Craesbeeck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didier Schollens was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 18 played minutes RSC Sellewie got a freekick which was hit by Willem Van Huele. Willem Van Huele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Üzeyir Tuğlu was a little too slow when Alfons Van Mellaert got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 30th minute Hermenegildo Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Üzeyir Tuğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Evert De Mees's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didier Schollens was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 33 minutes, Evert De Mees made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Alpina FC's Didier Schollens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermenegildo Castilho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Üzeyir Tuğlu made a huge save. Freddy Van Kestbeek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Schollens having to interfere. Didier Schollens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Louis Van Craesbeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jullian Bruynincx during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Jullian Bruynincx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46thth minute of the game Alfons Van Mellaert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RSC Sellewie's Üzeyir Tuğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Marios Valakopoulos in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RSC Sellewie's Jullian Bruynincx. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul-Louis Van Craesbeeck made a kick off. Alpina FC's Didier Schollens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Alpina FC from getting a goal against them. Üzeyir Tuğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Castilho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Sellewie's goalkeeper Üzeyir Tuğlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alpina FC's Didier Schollens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul-Louis Van Craesbeeck in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Alpina FC booed when RSC Sellewie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert De Mees didn't get a good kick on the ball. RSC Sellewie's Üzeyir Tuğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dirk Damman in the 62nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian Bruynincx in the 63rd minute of play forced Alpina FC's goalkeeper Didier Schollens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul-Louis Van Craesbeeck's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Didier Schollens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. RSC Sellewie's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evert De Mees in the 81st minute. The corner led RSC Sellewie's Evert De Mees to fire away a dangerous shot which Didier Schollens despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Didier Schollens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Van Kestbeek in the 83rd minute of the match. Üzeyir Tuğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermenegildo Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute of the match, Freddy Van Kestbeek tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Didier Schollens saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 91st minute, Willem Van Huele fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 92 minutes, Freddy Van Kestbeek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Sellewie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Van Kestbeek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hermenegildo Castilho scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Üzeyir Tuğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alpina FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
