Spectators: 8571 (Terracing: 6429, Seating: 1971, VIP seats: 171) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Toon Teunens started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ulan Bator Football Club's zone, Adolphe Sempels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ball Packert came out of the goal and Adolphe Sempels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brian Hunaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toon Teunens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ulan Bator Football Club booed when Westbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefaan Weynants didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh in the 12th minute of play forced Westbeke's goalkeeper Brian Hunaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Hunaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kieth Hacke, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Mattheo Smeulders recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Hunaerts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toon Teunens in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Toon Teunens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Hunaerts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Westbeke's Brian Hunaerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh in the 34th minute of play. Shen Cheng Hai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ball Packert having to interfere. Ulan Bator Football Club's Ball Packert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ulan Bator Football Club from getting a goal against them. Brian Hunaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toon Teunens, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adolphe Sempels made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Ulan Bator Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze to maneuver through the defense. Ball Packert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolphe Sempels went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Westbeke's goal looked a bit too open when Toon Teunens came free, but Brian Hunaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes Ulan Bator Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Pieter Van Cauwenbergh in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brian Hunaerts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ulan Bator Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze in the 67th minute. Ndingi Mwana'a Tchokhonelidze hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Adolphe Sempels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brian Hunaerts made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mattheo Smeulders sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute of the match, Toon Teunens got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brian Hunaerts was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd minute, Ysmael Tagle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Many of Ulan Bator Football Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ulan Bator Football Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Westbeke were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
