Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Servando Dorado in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Pinksteren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Servando Dorado put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Heiko Pinksteren. Servando Dorado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Heiko Pinksteren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Tony Degraef came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the fc pertotal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Degraef couldn't finish the play. When fc pertotal's Rudy Verheije in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Heiko Pinksteren managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Alpina FC's Servando Dorado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Heiko Pinksteren was a little too slow when Servando Dorado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind fc pertotal's goalkeeper Heiko Pinksteren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by fc pertotal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dirk Damman was slow to take the kick. During this time Alpina FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Alves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but fc pertotal's Heiko Pinksteren did a great save. Jean Ketelers's late challenge caught a fc pertotal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Ketelers helped the player get up and apologised. Jean Ketelers kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Degraef stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Benne Hulsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didier Schollens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chandler Bing, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of fc pertotal booed when Alpina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moreno Torricelli didn't get a good kick on the ball.
