Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1450, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederik Blaumüller started the match with the kick off. Wouter Vandevyver kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Joseph Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Blaumüller in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Sporting Mambo booed when Deportivo La Corona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wouter Vandevyver didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joseph Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Mattsson in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Deportivo La Corona getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Greg Van Meerbeec hit a great ball. In the 22nd match minute, Sporting Mambo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Blaumüller to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo La Corona's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Mattsson came free, but Joseph Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Wouter Vandevyver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Eric Mattsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Vennerström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 28th minute Frederik Blaumüller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antony Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Wouter Vandevyver came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Deportivo La Corona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wouter Vandevyver couldn't finish the play. Joseph Vennerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behzat Hazer in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Behzat Hazer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseph Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo La Corona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antony Rodrigues was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Mambo's players had a chance to rest. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo La Corona's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Blaumüller came free, but Joseph Vennerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Deportivo La Corona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sporting Mambo were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ercole Di Leonardo made a kick off. Joseph Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antony Rodrigues in the 50th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Deportivo La Corona got a corner. Sporting Mambo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignace Streels ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frederik Blaumüller got free with Joseph Vennerström in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Eric Mattsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joseph Vennerström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sporting Mambo made a substitution. Jordi De Mesemaekre replaced Eric Mattsson. Sporting Mambo's Florian De Vleeschauwere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Van Meerbeec in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Frederik Blaumüller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Mambo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Sporting Mambo's Rajmond Petris was substituted for Constant Maerschalk. Joseph Vennerström made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Frederik Blaumüller sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Mambo's zone, Ercole Di Leonardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian De Vleeschauwere came out of the goal and Ercole Di Leonardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joseph Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi De Mesemaekre in the 81st minute of play. Antony Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Joseph Vennerström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Behzat Hazer in the 85th minute of play forced Deportivo La Corona's goalkeeper Joseph Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sporting Mambo fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Sporting Mambo's Jordi De Mesemaekre looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Deportivo La Corona defense, Jordi De Mesemaekre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joseph Vennerström. The Deportivo La Corona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joseph Vennerström should have stopped the shot.
