When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Lierke Plezierke's Lucas Hostens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Mattsson in the 51st minute of play. Antony Rodrigues hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Eric Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Oscar Hilbrands hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balthazar Bär got free with Florian De Vleeschauwere in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balthazar Bär could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Florian De Vleeschauwere made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Sporting Mambo's Behzat Hazer got a free kick in the 79th minute. Sporting Mambo made a substitution. Jordi De Mesemaekre replaced Eric Mattsson. Sporting Mambo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
