The audience thought a goal was coming when Brend Vanden Driessche got free with Tony Vanbuyten in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tony Vanbuyten made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Joris De Raeve sent off a good shot on target. Portus Ganda's Tony Vanbuyten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joris De Raeve in the 14th minute of play. Jüri Djorkaeff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Jacinto in the 36th minute of play forced Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mickael den Pelsmaeker hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Enrique Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Portus Ganda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joris De Raeve to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Limburg United got a freekick which was hit by Mickael den Pelsmaeker. Julius Vanneste made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Güralp Ergüleç sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Limburg United defense, Enrique Jacinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julius Vanneste. The Limburg United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julius Vanneste should have stopped the shot. If Fredrik Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Tony Vanbuyten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joris De Raeve in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Limburg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Orellana to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Limburg United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fabian Orellana hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Güralp Ergüleç sped through Limburg United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julius Vanneste. 83 minutes into the match, Portus Ganda's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Terwenhout came free, but Tony Vanbuyten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goalkeeper Julius Vanneste had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Güralp Ergüleç. Güralp Ergüleç received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julius Vanneste came out and tried to block the shot, but Güralp Ergüleç slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 85th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Limburg United's Joris De Raeve made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Vanbuyten was left in no man's land by his defense there!
