With an extended leg and a bit of luck Greg Van Meerbeec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute, Balthazar Bär ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greg Van Meerbeec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Lierke Plezierke's Balthazar Bär in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Greg Van Meerbeec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Jerano's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Jonathan Jerano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg Van Meerbeec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Jerano made a precise shot to the right of Greg Van Meerbeec. Deportivo La Corona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Dean Van Eersel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lierke Plezierke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo La Corona the free kick. After 24 played minutes Lierke Plezierke got a freekick which was hit by Dean Van Eersel. In the 25th minute, Maxime Van Brusselen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 34th minute when Dean Van Eersel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balthazar Bär to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Balthazar Bär sped through Deportivo La Corona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Greg Van Meerbeec. 56 minutes into the match, Deportivo La Corona's goalkeeper Greg Van Meerbeec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balthazar Bär. The referee showed Yanne Van Dock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
