Liu Hao Zheng's late challenge caught a Anversa Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liu Hao Zheng helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Anversa Club booed when Circus BAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liu Hao Zheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Paublo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Vornicu in the 25th minute of play. Waut Van Der Meeren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fábio Cunha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. Amador Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reiner Fallas, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Waut Van Der Meeren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fábio Cunha in the 32nd minute. Waut Van Der Meeren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Fábio Cunha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 33 minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lautaro Martínez Gullotta to make the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anversa Club's goalkeeper Waut Van Der Meeren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Circus BAF's Amador Paublo got control of the ball when Claudio García tried to sneak it across the goal line. Circus BAF made a substitution. Samuel Namasivayam replaced Lautaro Martínez Gullotta. Circus BAF's Abubakar Al Abdullah was substituted for Viktor Goffyn. In the 70th minute of the match Anversa Club got a corner. Circus BAF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Niclas Ivarsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Niclas Ivarsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amador Paublo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Circus BAF's Samuel Namasivayam got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Namasivayam scored 4-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waut Van Der Meeren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Waut Van Der Meeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Namasivayam in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Winarto Songgonau made a precise shot to the right of Amador Paublo. Circus BAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel Namasivayam in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waut Van Der Meeren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Samuel Namasivayam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waut Van Der Meeren was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Namasivayam came free, but Waut Van Der Meeren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Namasivayam couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Anversa Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Circus BAF.
