The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Anversa Club's Nicu Vornicu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. That made the score 3-0 after 13 minutes of play. Nicu Vornicu took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Nicolaas Roeckeloes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Winarto Songgonau capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Winarto Songgonau really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Nicolaas Roeckeloes came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Anversa Club's Reiner Fallas. But to his dismay, Reiner Fallas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Nicolaas Roeckeloes came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Anversa Club's Winarto Songgonau. But to his dismay, Winarto Songgonau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Nicu Vornicu sped through Club Brugge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Nicolaas Roeckeloes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicu Vornicu in the 29th minute. After 34 minutes of play, Anversa Club's Roman Procházka made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicolaas Roeckeloes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio García in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Reiner Fallas made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Club Brugge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicu Vornicu got free with Nicolaas Roeckeloes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 42 minutes, Mickael De Winter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anversa Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mickael De Winter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Brugge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Reiner Fallas scored to the left of an out of position Nicolaas Roeckeloes, making the score, 11-0. 46 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goalkeeper Nicolaas Roeckeloes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicu Vornicu. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 11-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren got control of the ball when Gertjan Daems tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waut Van Der Meeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Dhollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Anversa Club's corner Serhan Mehmet fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolaas Roeckeloes quite easily take care of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Reiner Fallas came free, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Winarto Songgonau came free, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolaas Roeckeloes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reiner Fallas in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Reiner Fallas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anversa Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Reiner Fallas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolaas Roeckeloes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Anversa Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
