Robrecht Scheppers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jermaine Collingwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute of the match Dare to dream again got a corner. zvc fizikboys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vernon Wilkinson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Vernon Wilkinson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but zvc fizikboys's Robrecht Scheppers did a great save. Vernon Wilkinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Robrecht Scheppers made a huge save. 36 minutes into the match, Dare to dream again's Vernon Wilkinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robrecht Scheppers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Jimeno Acevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bobby Vanooteghem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Dare to dream again's Robrecht Scheppers threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jermaine Collingwood, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens Postens to make the kick off. Yu Feng Sang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to zvc fizikboys getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Frederic Van Houtvin hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, zvc fizikboys's goal looked a bit too open when Vernon Wilkinson came free, but Robrecht Scheppers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robrecht Scheppers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
