Viktor Goffyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Martínez Gullotta in the 18th minute of play forced Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's goalkeeper Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswald Dams kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Luís Fábio Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Circus BAF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Fábio Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Circus BAF booed when Maasmechelen Esox Lucius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoud Steckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Circus BAF were awarded a corner. Bin Bai went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Bin Bai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 41stth minute of the game Luís Fábio Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Fábio Cunha made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Luís Fábio Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Circus BAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 56th match minute, Maasmechelen Esox Lucius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xander De Weijngaerden to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Lautaro Martínez Gullotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Abdel Masoud Ghannouchi kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Goffyn in the 67th minute of play. Philippe Roulin struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Amador Paublo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maasmechelen Esox Lucius. Circus BAF made a substitution. Ronald Van Achteren replaced Viktor Goffyn. Circus BAF's Abubakar Al Abdullah was substituted for Samuel Namasivayam. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abubakar Al Abdullah in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Circus BAF's goal looked a bit too open when Willem Olbrechts came free, but Amador Paublo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abubakar Al Abdullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Circus BAF's Abubakar Al Abdullah. But to his dismay, Abubakar Al Abdullah quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 78 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck. Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Fábio Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abubakar Al Abdullah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abubakar Al Abdullah scored 6-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maasmechelen Esox Lucius's Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Cunha in the 88th minute of play. Abubakar Al Abdullah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, Circus BAF's Luís Fábio Cunha made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henri-Xavier De Maerschalck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Circus BAF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
