After some careless play in the The Original Wonderteam defense, Steven Puttemans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Serneels. The The Original Wonderteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Serneels should have stopped the shot. Steven Puttemans took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 31 minutes into the match, Steven Puttemans had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdinand Serneels. The Original Wonderteam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steven Puttemans was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. 34 minutes into the game, SK Mons's Steven Puttemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Serneels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Trevor Eubank took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save The Original Wonderteam from getting a goal against them. Frank Dewolf charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Dewolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank Dewolf hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 44th play minutes Steven Puttemans shot 11-0, a short shot which went by Ferdinand Serneels and just under the crossbar into goal. When Steven Puttemans in the 49th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ferdinand Serneels kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 12-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 12-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Steven Puttemans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luka Van Aken took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. 63 minutes into the game, Trevor Eubank cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 15-0. Ferdinand Serneels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the game, SK Mons's Steven Puttemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Serneels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 16-0. 71 minutes into the game, SK Mons's Cornel Ulici nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Puttemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Etienne Anteunis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Original Wonderteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Mons the free kick. But to his dismay, Christoph Van den Berch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 20-0. Julien Maerschalck's late challenge caught a SK Mons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julien Maerschalck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th match minute, The Original Wonderteam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julien Maerschalck to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, SK Mons's Christoph Van den Berch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 98th minute Trevor Eubank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cornel Ulici took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 21-0. SK Mons's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
