Ferdinand Serneels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luc Van Parijs in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Jannis Impens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ferdinand Serneels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels got control of the ball when Benedict Van Hautvin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertan Wouqier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Etienne Anteunis, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. When Frank Dewolf fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Original Wonderteam's protests and gave Frank Dewolf a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Dewolf hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 62nd play minutes Jannis Impens shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Ferdinand Serneels and just under the crossbar into goal. Ferdinand Serneels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jannis Impens's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 69th minute, Jonas Van Clijnebreugel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BocaJuniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 73 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goal looked a bit too open when Jannis Impens came free, but Ferdinand Serneels reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferdinand Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedict Van Hautvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jannis Impens took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. After a rather tough play, BocaJuniors's Jannis Impens got a free kick in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jannis Impens in the 89th minute of play forced The Original Wonderteam's goalkeeper Ferdinand Serneels to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Luc Van Parijs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BocaJuniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. When the referee ended the match the BocaJuniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
