Billy Vloebergh was slow to take the kick. During this time Royal Antwerp F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Royal Antwerp F.C.'s corner Billy Vloebergh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andreas Boegaerts quite easily take care of the ball. In the 19th minute, Bart Vrints got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes, Billy Vloebergh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Royal Antwerp F.C. and the fc eendenpad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Andreas Boegaerts successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The corner ended in Billy Vloebergh almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but fc eendenpad's Andreas Boegaerts did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronny Valckx got free with Reinard Van Ghele in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 74 minutes into the game, Dedé Barral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Reinard Van Ghele was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinard Van Ghele was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Lenny De Martelaere capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. A collision led to Royal Antwerp F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ryszard Dropinski hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Royal Antwerp F.C.'s Billy Vloebergh in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 94 minutes fc eendenpad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Billy Vloebergh who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Royal Antwerp F.C.'s corner Billy Vloebergh fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andreas Boegaerts quite easily take care of the ball. Chants of fc eendenpad echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Royal Antwerp F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
