Jason De Swert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Van Parijs, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The BocaJuniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bertan Wouqier should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute, Ronny Valckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. BocaJuniors's Bertan Wouqier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Vrints in the 27th minute of play. fc eendenpad's Bart Vrints got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Bobby Pannekoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertan Wouqier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Vrints, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, BocaJuniors's Benedict Van Hautvin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jason De Swert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Jannis Impens sped through fc eendenpad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason De Swert. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to fc eendenpad getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Kristiaan De Vleeschauwere hit a great ball. Jonas Van Clijnebreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. BocaJuniors's Bertan Wouqier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Johnson in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Van Clijnebreugel in the 59th minute of play forced fc eendenpad's goalkeeper Jason De Swert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Marcus Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertan Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Johnson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason De Swert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannis Impens in the 74th minute of play. Bart Vrints in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bertan Wouqier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Dedé Barral fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc eendenpad's protests and gave Dedé Barral a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes fc eendenpad got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Barral. A collision led to fc eendenpad getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Joery Weijnants hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the game, Jannis Impens cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Jason De Swert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th minute, Marcus Johnson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The fc eendenpad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Jason De Swert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannis Impens, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. fc eendenpad's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
